Bereavement Camps for Kids
Know a child that has lost a parent, guardian, sibling, or other loved one? Did you know there are bereavement camps around the country created to help children (and adults) navigate the loss of someone important in their lives by integrating the fun of summer camp with grief support? These camps are free and, having volunteered with one before, life-changing. Want to change your life? Consider spending a week or a weekend volunteering with one! Don’t have the time to volunteer? Consider donating financially as donations are what keep these programs free and able to expand to more sites and touch more lives.
